Sabbat Lore and Status

Post  Storyteller on Thu Apr 21, 2011 3:01 am

Knowing the status and details of other kindred in the Sabbat is a sign of an individual's commitment to the sect and time spent learning about the cause they fervently believe in.

The following system will take the place of doing Sabbat Lore rolls to determine if you know a person, and/or their standing.

Sabbat Lore:
* - You know if another Cainite is a member of the Sabbat. You know the Cainite's Clan.
** - You know the total number of status (both positive and negative) a Cainite has, in number only.
*** - You know both the total number of status (both positive and negative) a Cainite has, and what traits they are.
**** - You know the Status traits (both positive and negative) a Cainite has, and why they earned those individual traits.
***** - You know complete information on the Status Traits (both positive and negative) a Cainite has including the reason, who granted the status, where and in what year.

This system will be an honor system. The status list may be found in the Bishop's Announcement forum, under Status. If a player has not turned in the information for their status - your character will still know this information based on the level of lores they have, but sadly must wait for the complete information to be turned in.

Thanks to Liz and Jack of Emerald City Reborn for the original system from which this has been revised.

Storytellers, by the very act of telling, communicate a radical learning that changes lives and the world: telling stories is a universally accessible means through which people make meaning.
